Service Description

10-Week CBT/DBT Workshop This 10-week CBT/DBT workshop is designed to help individuals build insight, emotional stability, and practical skills for navigating everyday challenges. Through a structured blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), the workshop offers a supportive and educational environment where participants learn how to understand their thoughts, regulate their emotions, and respond to stress with greater clarity and effectiveness. The format combines teaching, discussion, and guided skill practice, allowing you to apply what you learn in real time and build confidence as you go. The workshop begins by laying the foundation for understanding how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. Early sessions focus on identifying unhelpful thinking patterns, increasing emotional awareness, and recognizing how automatic responses can keep you stuck. From there, you learn how to challenge these patterns, create healthier interpretations, and build more intentional habits. As the weeks progress, the workshop integrates DBT principles to help you develop emotional regulation skills, distress tolerance strategies, and meaningful interpersonal boundaries. Each session builds on the last, creating a step-by-step path toward improved emotional balance and self-control. This workshop is ideal for individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, relationship difficulties, or patterns of avoidance and overwhelm. It is also supportive for those who feel “stuck” in cycles of negative thinking or reactive behaviors and want a structured approach to making lasting change. The group format offers a sense of connection and shared experience while still allowing for individualized learning and reflection. Across the 10 weeks, participants practice grounding skills, behavioral activation, cognitive reframing, mindfulness strategies, distress tolerance tools, and communication techniques rooted in DBT’s interpersonal effectiveness module. These skills help you reduce emotional intensity, respond more intentionally in difficult moments, and build a stronger internal foundation. Weekly assignments support continued growth between sessions and help the material become integrated into your daily life. By the end of the workshop, you will have a practical, personalized toolkit for regulating emotions, managing stress, challenging negative beliefs, and improving relationships. You will also have a dee
